The engravings are not as crisp\u00a0as in the original, which was a masterpiece of the Victorian printer&#8217;s art, but you will be delighted by both the book and its illustrations.<\/p>\n<h1>Amelia B. Edwards = Amelia Peabody Emerson?<\/h1>\n<p>Fans of Elizabeth Peters&#8217; <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Amelia_Peabody_series\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Amelia Peabody Emerson mystery novels<\/a>\u00a0will\u00a0be struck by the similarities between the two Amelias. Edwards<\/h1>\n<p>Amelia B. Edwards was an author and co-founder of the Egypt Exploration Fund (now the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ees.ac.uk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Egypt Exploration Society<\/a> in 1882.
